Contract and Terms Of Service for The Setup Package
This Contract for Squarespace Template Setup Package ("Contract") is entered into by and between Candor Templates ("Company") and the purchaser of the Squarespace Template Setup Package ("Client").

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change the Terms under which our products are offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. We encourage You to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
Parties Involved
The Company agrees to provide the Client with the Squarespace Template Setup Package, as described on the Company's website. The Client agrees to provide the Company with all necessary branding materials and content prior to the customisation process.
The Scope of Work
The Company will customise the Client's chosen Squarespace template with the provided branding materials and content, including colours, fonts, logo, copy, and images. The end result will be a website with the same layout as the demo site, customised with the Client's branding materials and content.
The Package does not include any additional services, including but not limited to adding new pages, layout reworks, custom coding, basic SEO, domain connection, uploading of blog posts or products, additional pages and content blocks, site migration or domain name registration or connection.
If the Client requires additional services beyond the Squarespace template setup package, the Company will provide a separate quote outlining the terms and conditions for those services.
Working Hours
The Company's working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm GMT. The Company will make reasonable efforts to respond to all communications from the Client within 3 business days.
Customer Responsabilities
As the customer, you are responsible for providing us with all necessary branding materials and content prior to the customisation process. This includes colours, fonts, logo, copy, and images. You are also responsible for ensuring that all content provided is correctly licensed and that you have permission to use it.
Access to website content
The Client grants the Company temporary access to their existing website and content solely for the purpose of providing the Squarespace template setup package. The Client is responsible for ensuring that any content provided to the Company does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
Payment
The Client shall pay the Company the investment for the Package, as listed on the Company's website. Payment is due in full prior to the start of the customisation process and shall be made via the Company's website.
Feedback, Revisions and Approvals
The Company will provide the Client with one refinement to ensure that the customisation meets their branding and content needs. Any additional revisions beyond the first refinement will incur additional charges. The Client must provide feedback and approvals in a timely manner.

Copyright
The copyright of the design remains with the Company, as the Squarespace template is customised and sold to multiple people. Any modifications or adaptations made by the Company to the Squarespace template are the property of the Company and may not be reproduced, distributed, or displayed without our written consent. The Client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the customised Squarespace template for their website only. This license may not be transferred or sublicensed to any third party. The Client agrees not to claim any ownership of the design of the Squarespace template or the customised website, as it is the property of the Company and protected under copyright law.
Responsibility for website function
The Company is responsible for customising the Squarespace template according to the Client's provided branding materials and content. The Company is not responsible for the functionality of the website beyond the customisation of the Squarespace template. The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Squarespace platform is a third-party service and the Company has no control over the platform's functionality, uptime, or availability. The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Company is solely responsible for the design of the website, including colours, fonts, and layouts, and is not responsible for any other aspect of the website's performance or ability beyond the design.
The Client is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, updates, and security of their website.
Acceptable Use
The customised website must not be used for illegal purposes or in any way that could harm the Company's reputation or violate the Company's policies.
Intellectual Property Infringement
If the Client provides any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, the Company will not be held liable for any resulting damages.
Abuse and Micromanaging
We do not accept micromanaging or abuse in any way. We reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that the Client's behaviour is unacceptable.
Cancellation and Termination
The Client may cancel this Contract at any time by giving written notice to the Company. In the event of cancellation, the Client will be responsible for paying for any services rendered up to the date of cancellation. The Company reserves the right to retain any payments made by the Client prior to cancellation as compensation for time spent on the customisation process up to that point. Any unused portion of the Package fee will be refunded to the Client within 14 days of cancellation.
Either party may terminate this Contract at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice. In the event of termination, the Client will be responsible for paying for any services rendered up to the date of termination. Any disputes arising from or related to this Contract shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates.
Delays
The Company will make every effort to complete the customisation process within the agreed-upon timeline. However, in the event of a delay due to unforeseen circumstances or the client not providing the necessary information, the timeline may be extended and additional fees may apply.
Legal Jurisdiction
This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, Wales. If any provision of this Contract is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of either party to enforce any right or provision of this Contract shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
Any disputes arising from or related to this Contract shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates. The Client may not assign or transfer this Contract without the prior written consent of the Company.
Privacy and Confidentiality
The Company agrees to keep all Client information confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without the Client's express written consent.
Credit and Marketing Rights
The Client agrees to keep the site credit for our work on their website and acknowledge our role in customising the Squarespace template. The Company has the right to showcase the Client's website and the work we've done in marketing and on our site freely and anywhere else.
Indemnification
The Client shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims, damages, or losses arising from the use of the Package or the Client's breach of these Terms. The Client agrees to provide correctly licensed content and to obtain all necessary permissions to use the content provided.
Liability Limitations
The Company's liability for any issues arising from the customisation process or the use of the customised website shall be limited to the amount paid for the Squarespace template setup package.
Content Loss
While we make every effort to ensure the safety and security of the website and its content, the Company cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to content on the website. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that all content is backed up and stored in a safe location. In the event of loss or damage to content, the Company will make reasonable efforts to assist the Client in restoring the website to its previous state, but cannot guarantee the recovery of any lost or damaged content.
Warranties
The Company makes no warranties or guarantees with respect to the Package, including but not limited to its quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with the Client's website. The Company is not responsible for any damages or losses that may result from the use of the Package.
Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held responsible for any delays or failures in performance of this Contract caused by acts of God, acts of war, acts of terrorism, labour strikes, power failures, or other events beyond the Company's control.
Template Terms
In addition to the terms set forth in this Contract, the Client agrees to comply with all terms and conditions associated with the Squarespace template chosen for customisation. The Client acknowledges that they have read and understand the terms and conditions associated with the Squarespace template and agree to abide by them. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions set forth in this Contract and those of the Squarespace template, the terms and conditions of this Contract shall prevail.
Modification to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice to you. Your continued use of the Package following any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
Acceptance
By purchasing the Squarespace Template Setup Package, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Contract.
