Each template purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-seat license to the template. If you need to install the template more than once, multiple templates must be purchased.

In short, 1 template purchase = 1 website only.

To clarify, each Squarespace template can be used for one website only. If you want to use the template for a different person, business, or website, you must purchase another license by purchasing the template again.

We understand that our templates may be used in various commercial projects, and we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you. However, we ask that you respect our copyright and intellectual property.

You may not, in any circumstance, claim or promote our website template designs as your own work. If you are purchasing a Squarespace template for use in a client project or any project where you will be receiving compensation (e.g. money), you must place/retain a credit to Candor templates with a live hyperlink to our website.

Proper credit can be given by adding a statement such as "Template/Design by Candor" in the footer or on the website's credits page with a live hyperlink to our website.

If you have multiple creatives that you are giving credit to, you may move our live credit hyperlink from the footer to a Site Credits page, however, the Site Credits page must be linked to in the footer.

You may add your own name alongside our credit if you wish, as long as the hyperlink to the Candor Templates website is maintained and it is clear that the original design is not being claimed.

We offer two installation options:

• Transferred to you as a new site:
  We will install the demo template on a brand-new Squarespace 7.1 website and transfer it to your Squarespace account. You will receive an email invite to your brand-new Squarespace 7.1 site within 48 business hours of your order.

• Installed on an existing website:
  We will install the demo template on your chosen existing Squarespace 7.1 website. We will install the template on your existing Squarespace 7.1 site within 48 business hours of your order.

Both installation options are available for websites built on Squarespace version 7.1 only. We are unable to install the template on previous Squarespace versions, such as 7.0 or earlier.

SQUARESPACE VERSION 7.1

If your website is built on Squarespace version 7.1, we can install the template on your existing website. If you would like the template installed on your existing Squarespace 7.1 website, simply choose "install on my existing site" when purchasing.

SQUARESPACE VERSION 7.0

If your site is built on Squarespace version 7.0, we cannot install the template on your existing site. Instead, you can choose “transfer to me as a new site” on your chosen template. We can then transfer a new 7.1 version website into your account with the demo template installed and you can then transfer your content across.

All of our templates require the Squarespace business plan or higher.

Pssst. You will automatically get 20% off of your Squarespace Subscription (plus a free domain and professional email) if you choose to upgrade your new website to an annual plan within 30 days. This discount is not valid for existing site installs as it requires a new website to be created.

You only need to check your Squarespace version if you are opting for the installation of the template on an existing website. You do not need to check your Squarespace version if you are choosing “transfer to me as a new website” when purchasing.

All of our templates are built for Squarespace 7.1 and use Fluid Engine, Squarespace's brand-new editing experience.

Of course! Once the demo template has been installed, you can add as many pages to your site as you'd like, blogs, shops, portfolios and more!

Understanding code is not required to use our templates. Our templates come with done-for-you code, so you don't need to have any coding knowledge.

In the rare event that you need to make adjustments to the code (such as pasting in a colour code), we provide step-by-step guides and tutorials to ensure that you know exactly what to do. We make it easy for you to customise your template without having to worry about understanding the underlying code or how it works.

Due to the digital nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds, returns or exchanges for any payments made after the template installation has been completed.

If you have not yet received your template installation, we may offer a partial refund but will subtract an installation fee for any work that has already been completed.
